According to the Emirate website WWW.EMRIATES.COM , the occupant should book their tickets only when their GDRFA application has been approved.

In a statement, it said ”only book your ticket back to Dubai after you have received the approval. During the booking procedure, you will be asked to enter Resident file number”.

All Dubai residents returning through Emirates should:

  • Call the airline,s call centre hotline to assist with your booking and application for approval to travel or your can complete your application without any hesitating through GDFRA website
  • Fill the health declaration form as well as the quarantine undertaking. Both forms are to be printed, complete, and given to the Dubai Health Authority DHA staff at Arrival. The closing off form will only take into effect if the traveller needs to go through quarantine.

Upon reaching Dubai, all travellers are required to take a PCR test and to stay in their homes until the test result is given.

If your test result is positive, you will then be required to go through quarantine
